Seo, web hosting and domain name registration.

This blog is DOFOLLOW. But your URL must be related to SEO, Hosting or Domains. If not, we'll make your URL NOFOLLOW. We implemented two ways to place a DOFOLLOW link: 1) Link with your own name (tip: change your own name into your keywords or keyword phrase) or 2) Place your full website address in the comment box. That address will be non-clickable, but it is a DOFOLLOW one. If you link with keywords in your comment, then it will result in a NOFOLLOW link.

Many SEO experts forget to tell you one of the most important Google SEO factors: the search giant determines the location of your website’s country by checking where the data centers of your web hosts are located. If these servers are located in another country than your target country, then you will not be able to rank high in the country specific search engine you are targeting. And almost all surfers on the planet use country specific Google search engines! So, for example, your site targets the UK and the data centers of your Web Host are in the USA (many UK hosts have servers in the US), then Google will assume that the country you are targeting is the USA. This means that you will never ever rank high in Google.co.uk for your desired keywords. And, for example, your website targets the USA and the servers of your web host are located in the UK (some US web hosts have servers in the UK), then Google will assume that the UK is your target country and you will never be able to rank high in Google.com.

More country indicators

Another SEO factor is the fact that domain names are very important country indicators for Google as well. A domain name should always have a domain name extension that matches the country your website is targeting. This means, for example, that if you use a .com extension for a site targeting the UK market, you made a wrong choice. In this specific case the domain extension should be .co.uk or any other uk extension. Webmasters, not complying with these rules, will never be able to rank high in the Google search engine for the country they target. This also means that, if a webmaster is targeting the US, then he or she should never use a country extension like, for instance, .co.uk or other country extensions that are not meant for the US.

Some more rules

1) A commercial website should not end in a .org extension.
3) To be taken seriously by Google, a domain registration period should be at least two years.
4) You should always be able to modify your own Whois information in an online account, because anyone has access to this information.

Bad News

The problem is that many webmasters do not comply with one or more of the above rules. I find it frustrating to see so many web masters spend money, time and energy on optimizing their sites, while actually they don’t have any chance at all to rank high. So please don’t make a domain name or web hosting mistake at the very first beginning of your Internet presence. Unfortunately, in the current situation, many webmasters should change their domains and/or switch to another web host, in order to create higher ranking in Google.

The Good News

But here is the Good News: If you just started a new website and you made one or more of the above mistakes, then there’s not really a problem: just register a new domain and/or choose another web host. If you have a long existing site: it’s easy to change your domain name without losing any search rank, page rank or link popularity. The simple solution here is the implementation of a so called Google friendly 301 permanent redirect from the old url to the new one. You can find all relevant information on the Web. Just type Google friendly 301 redirect in Google. Last, but not least I would like to mention the SEO Basics Account. This Free Account comes with a unique web hosting plan and offers a Guarantee for a page number one rank in Google!

Real Time Search

Facebook is imitating Twitter.coms feature of real-time search. And now it seems that Google may be forced to start something similar. Larry Page, a Google executive, recently confirmed this at a Google conference in the UK. When we asked his opinion on Twitter, Larry responded: “I now think we need to index the web every second to allow real-time search. At first, my team did not believe me. However, now they know they have to do it, because of Twitter. People are pretty excited about real-time”. Larry Page added: “People really prefer real time search and I think Twitter has done a great job about it while we have done a relatively poor job of creating real time search”. So, it sounds as if the search engine is going to make fresh results available. Google now thinks that real-time search may become more important than its own current index. When a disaster happens, it’s Twitter coming up with real-time information. It’s Twitter that is the relevant search engine for sensational real time events. Not Google or even Google News ! And Google finally admits this. Twitter is giving people real-time information thus blowing away Google’s search results, which are always at least several hours old. But we don’t think Google will die. They will either buy Twitter or Google may start its own real-time search.
